RCT/RLC AD Brevet
Minor Update
23 Feb 08

A major update has been postponed as I am rewriting the website. This could take a little time. My apologies for the delay.

Reunion 2008 Cancelled

Unfortunately the Air Despatch Association Reunion scheduled for 28th June 2008 has had to be cancelled. The cancellation is due to the inability of the Military at South Cerney to help us in the matter of accommodation. The Committee have worked hard to resolve this difficulty but without success. All members having paid for the reunion will be contacted by post.

The Committee has a suggested alternative venue for later this year. This is the Britannia Hotel in Coventry on the dates 31 Oct, 1st and 2nd November 2008. The Britannia has a good track record in hosting service reunions.

Men of Air Despatch
A large photograph is here.

Paul van Halteren of Arnhem wants to know if anyone can name any of the men in the photograph above. He knows that the centre man in the front row is R.N. Clements who served in 800 Coy RASC (A D). He was killed in action during Operation “Market Garden” on the 21st of September 1944.
